Cultural Safety Training Providers
Nya Birth Collective - Anti-Racist Midwifery Practice Education
"A comprehensive training and consultancy initiative designed to embed anti-racism, cultural safety, and equity into maternity care. This bespoke programme equips the maternity workforce, student midwives, and academic institutions with the in depth knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to identify, challenge, and dismantle systemic inequities in midwifery practice.
Who it’s for:
- NHS maternity teams and leadership
- Universities training student midwives
- Midwifery educators and trainers
- Wider maternity workforce seeking inclusive, equitable care skills"
Support Me CIC - Culturally Aligned Training & Consultancy
"Culturally Aligned practice isn’t about offering marginalised groups equal and inclusive care. It’s about acknowledging and accepting oppressive practices exist and how the system has failed them. We need to accept the systemic issues that have built the foundation of oppressive care and the power imbalance that lies within it. Only then can we offer equitable care rather than including the ‘other’."
Abuela Doulas - Awakening Seeds Course
"Awakening Seeds is the only anti-racism course created specifically for birthworkers that takes you beyond theory, beyond performance, and into the daily practice of unlearning white supremacy and building embodied habits of justice. It gives you the historical grounding, the practical tools, and the accountability framework you need to not just “know better,” but to do better – even when no one is watching."

Physiological Birth Skills - Training Providers
Optimal Birth - Biomechanics for Birth
"The course has been created following requests from colleagues who have witnessed the effectiveness of techniques I have used in clinical work for many years. It offers midwives the chance to fully support women, helping to resolve mechanical labour dystocia in a gentle and logical way. Although this is aimed at midwives it is suitable for all birthworkers including doulas, doctors, and any medical professionals with an interest in birth matters."
Serenity Doula - Birthing Biomechanics for Birth workers
"This is a course for Birthworkers such as doulas, midwives, antenatal teachers, pregnancy yoga teachers, etc, to understand how the baby and birthing person interact during pregnancy and labour, how the muscles, ligaments and bony pelvis interact and can influence the course of birth and what we can do as doulas to help if a labour is stalling, slowing down or very uncomfortable. There is plenty of chance to practice techniques, understand when to use them and why.
If you have ever felt you wish you could have done more for a someone leading up to or during a challenging birth, this course will give you lots of ideas as to how you can help."
